Youtube Inspiration

Whilst looking on youtube for inspiration I came across Lana Del Rey's music video for 'Video Games' this gave us a huge amount of help in narrowing down our ideas for our video and ensuring we have an original twist and therefore relate to the new, fresh feel of Indie Pop.

The main points we were able to take from this video were;

• The female performance- As the majority of our footage will be of Scarlett (our female performer)  
• Lana's vintage and hipster style- This is the style that we want to portray within our video as this is most convention for the indie genre.
• The filters use throughout the video- This idea is definitely a theme that we would like to carry out throughout our video and a strong way to break away from the standard conventions. 
• The genre- Although the genre is not identical to Barely Love You Too I believe it close enough so it allows us to use the ideas Lana has put within the video.
